About Me
Hi, Iām Karen, a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist in Toronto, Ontario.
Originally from Devon, England. My journey into the world of massage therapy began with a deep fascination for the human body, honed during my four years of studying dance and physical education. This early education sparked a lifelong passion for understanding how our bodies move, respond, and recover.
In October 2019, I graduated from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy and continue to build on my knowledge, techniques and approach to massage therapy. My practice is grounded in a holistic perspective, where I consider each client's unique responses, breathing patterns, history, and daily activities to tailor my treatments effectively.
I specialize in various modalities and techniques, including fascial release, lymphatic drainage, cupping therapy, and have advanced training in TMJ and PREGNANCY massage. My goal is to address not only immediate concerns but also foster long-term wellness by working closely with my clients. When needed I provide personalized exercises and stretches to support their journey towards optimal health.
Having observed and treated the challenges faced by desk workers, whether in office settings or working from home, I am passionate about helping individuals overcome these postural hurdles from prolonged sitting/standing. My goal in the future is to be able to offer workshops and programs, both in-person and online, that educate and empower office professionals to improve posture, alleviate discomfort, and enhance overall well-being. Outside of my professional life, I love travelling, exploring new places, going on adventures with my husband, watching live sports. And, of course, dogs, I love dogs!
I look forward to partnering with you on your wellness journey and helping you feel your best.
